Allison McNamara
Allison is the founder and CEO of MARA — a transformative, award-winning line of clean-clinical skincare products infused with the brand’s proprietary algae. Before MARA, Allison was an on-camera host and journalist for POPSUGAR, ET!, and Refinery29, where she reported on fashion and beauty trends for over a decade. Allison’s hosting acumen led her to cover key broadcasts including: cohosting the Emmy nominated ‘Backstage Pass’ Oscars’ pre-show, guest appearing on the TODAY Show, co-hosting POPSUGAR Now on PopTv, host of Midnight Style on fyi Network, and anchoring many Dick Clark productions for the AMAs, Grammys and more. Originally from Palos Verdes, California, Allison studied Journalism, Political Science and Marketing at the University of Southern California, and Media Studies at the Sorbonne in Paris.
