For more than 30 years, Neal Harris Fragrances has designed and supplied fragrances for personal care, fine fragrance and environmental uses and also created a unique system that allows shoppers, spa clients, concert goers and others to experience Live ScentEvents to enhance their experiences at venues both large and small, both indoors and outdoors. Neal has produced live ScentEvents for clients as varied as Katy Perry, David Copperfield, Shania Twain, and Target Stores to name a few.

Recognized as one of the industry’s leading authorities on fragrance, Annette Green was the first recipient of The Beauty Industry West Legend Award in 2005 for her many contributions that shaped the direction and growth of the emerging fragrance industry in the 60’s, 70’s and beyond. Appointed Executive Director of The Fragrance Foundation in the late 50’s, a post in which she served for 40 years, it is clear that the industry was struggling. The year of her appointment to the Pro Bono position of the floundering Non-Profit, there were but three new fragrances launched: English Leather by MEM, Diorama by Dior and Moustache by Parfums Rochas. Annette went on to help place fragrance front and center with consumers and bring the foundation into a position of influence by establishing the annual fragrance marketing awards (FiFi’s) as well as establishing one of the first U.S. fragrance research entities, the Sense of Smell Institute. Annette will trace the growth of the tiny fragrance world of the late 50s and 60’s through 50+ years of challenges, change and dynamic growth ending with a look at where the industry is today and its future.
